In September 2006, Saupto Foods announced that it will be expanding its City of Quinte West (Trenton) facility in the coming weeks. This decision was part of Saputo’s announcement which occurred last October. The Trenton Plant was established in 1976 and currently employees a total of 50 people. Within the next weeks, the plant will be enlarged in order to increase the production capacity. Following the expansion, 45 new employees will be added to the plant’s personnel!
